Scouts can complete the Aviation Merit Badge through a program offered at the Aviation History and Technology Center (AHTC) in Marietta.

Cobb County Radio Control Modelers participates in the program by showcasing our club and some of our various aircraft with a focus on how we train new student pilots (aka the Scouts). Scout’s parents and family members also attend the program.

Members of our club volunteer one Saturday a month from April thru October at 9 AM. Our portion of the program lasts about 20 minutes. If you would like to participate, please contact Dave Daugherty.
