The results of the contest are listed below:

• 1st place went to Marten Verheggen after a heated battle with Colton Clark that lasted 3 rounds. Marten flew a U CAN DO at 13.10 lbs with a nice flight around the field. The weights consisted of 4 3/8 inch plates.
  
• 2nd place went to Colton Clark. Colton flew a NEXSTAR around at 13.70 lbs after 6 takeoff attempts and using every bit of runway. The weights consisted of 3 3/8 inch plates and 1 1/4 inch plate.
• 3rd place went to Don Orr after running out of time in round 3.
• An Honorable Mention goes to Dave Price and Gary Gray for their model with a 15 foot wing span

The event drew a large crowd and a good time was had by all, even though the weather was (very) windy and cold. Thanks to everyone who participated and for making the event a success.
